Long before our time, August in East Hampton meant one thing: the carnival. 🎪

Every year the town threw a themed celebration that pulled in thousands. The Carnival of Allied Nations in 1917, the Mother Goose Carnival in 1922, the Carnival of Songs in 1925, and every summer the Belltown Bombers took the field for a ball game. A whole town coming alive in the heat of August. Some traditions never really fade.
