Today at 2:10 PM, officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Damon Road by River Run Road (pictured). A pedestrian was entering the newly installed crosswalk and sustained injuries when a truck pulling a landscape trailer struck the pedestrian, and then left the area. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

We are seeking the assistance of anyone who was in this area at this time and may have witnessed this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call dispatch at (413)587-1100.

***Winter Parking Ban***

Due to the impending storm, there will be a parking ban in effect beginning at 10pm today (Sunday 1-22-2023) until 12pm on Monday (1-23-2023).

8:40am East Street has been reopened. Thank you for your cooperation.

East Street from Fort Hill Road to North Street (Route 5) will be closed until further notice due to wires down as a result of a car crash. We will update when the road has been reopened. Please avoid the area.
