It's honestly refreshing to see a trend of entrepreneurs sharing what it β¨οΈreallyβ¨οΈ looks like to own a business.
When someone (husband or wife) decides to make the jump into owning their own business it can look like a lot of "free time" to outsiders. But, that couldn't be further from the truth.
Not only does Evan own a business, but he owns a black car company in the Twin Cities. Which means a call can come any time day or night, at home or in the middle of the desert on vacation. People often will ask "how do you put up with that?" And my answer is always simple.
"He's working hard now in the early phases of years 0 - 5 to build our future for years 10 and beyond." πͺ
Being an entrepreneur is not a walk in the park. It's not "I'll 'work from home today.'"
It is a 24/7/365 grind.
Not to mention, the mental fortitude, maturity, and strength it takes to own a business has taught him so much in these 5 short years. Helping him become even more of the man I need.
So, while he's working tirelessly, the least I can do to support our dreams is write social media posts, run his Google ads, and have a dinner ready for him. We'll have plenty of time to enjoy the vacations and some free time when it's right.
Thankfully, we have a super strong, professional, and reliable chauffer crew that helps hold down the fort when Evan isn't in the metro π
