Horse of the day: Montana
* 2 years old, will be 3 next month
*Her mom is Mavis, one of our other horses
* She is 1/2 quarter horse and 1/2 Belgian
*We bought her, with her mom, when she was just 3 months old.
* She has now had 6 rides on her and has been perfect. No buck, no bolt, no rear, nothing.
* She even conquered the “bridge” her first time seeing it. We expect her to be a fantastic riding horse and hopefully in lessons in the future.

*7 year old Thoroughbred
*Her grandfather is Curlin, a famous horse who raced in the Kentucky Derby.
*She raced 6 times and placed 3rd 3 times.
* She has had one baby who most likely stared his racing career this year.
*She was adopted through the Second Strides thoroughbred rehoming organization.

We have finally decided on a name for this cutie. We stayed with the “M” theme since her mom is Mavis and her big sister is Montana.

Minnie Mouse 🐭

Minnie is for the state Minnesota. We had family visiting from Minnesota the day she was born and she was first spotted by their little boy.

Mouse is for her color. She will be that grey mouse color, just like her mom.

*Registered name is Rips Early Valentine because he was born the day before Valentine’s Day.
* His color is bay roan because of all the white hairs mixed in his coat
* He is one of Mrs Jessica’s daughters horses but recently started giving lessons too
