Main Street in Elburn is buzzing as the town gets ready for Elburn Days! 🎡 loves being right in the middle of all the excitement. There’s nothing better than seeing our town come alive and our community come together for one of Elburn’s favorite weekends! ❤️

We especially love the new school bus 🚌💜 — how appropriate with today being the first day back in the district!

Of course, our eyes were naturally drawn to the Westmore pen on the counter, too. 👀💜 Love seeing one local business repping another!

It is with sad hearts that we share that our Big Dog, Marty, passed away this week. 🤍🐾

Regrettably, he never got the chance to have his photo taken with the new Elburn mural. In fact, just the last time he was at the office, it was discussed that we needed to make sure we got one.

A familiar face from time to time in the Westmore offices at Route 47 Plaza, he enjoyed stopping by, laying by the door, and watching the world go by on Route 47 through the window.

This week, we said goodbye to Marty—an OG Westmore Wagger and the last of the originals. 🐾🪽🤍

Always willing to represent Westmore and always a good sport, posing for photos, making appearances, and helping create memories along the way.

Forever part of the Westmore family and forever "Marty Party"—a nickname lovingly given to him by an OG Westmore team member. 💙🐾🎉

But to Mike and Rachel, he was simply their Big Dog, and he left a very big pawprint on their hearts. 💔🐾💔

The baton has officially been passed to his sister, Millie, who now proudly takes on the role of the official Westmore Wagger and carries on the legacy of the Westmore Waggers. 💙🐾💛

The Elburn mural’s “Parks, Preserves & Memorials” section reflects the importance of honoring spaces, stories, and especially those who came before us within our community & gave the ultimate for us all.

Today, we honor and remember those who made that ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸
