Suspicious Incident
EPD # 2023-67785

On Monday, November 6th, 2023 at 8:22 a.m. the Elgin Police Department was made aware of an anonymous threat to Elgin High School via social media. The threat is currently unsubstantiated. Detectives are actively investigating the threat and working with school staff to ensure that students are safe. We will be providing extra police presence at the school throughout the remainder of the day.
