Trash Pickup During Icy or Snow-Covered Road Conditions

Dear Vine Grove customers,

We understand that missed or delayed trash pickup can be frustrating. Please know that during periods of ice or snow-covered roads, collection schedules may be impacted for safety reasons.

When road conditions are hazardous or when the landfill is closed due to weather conditions, trash collection may be delayed or temporarily suspended. Borders Disposal is not responsible for service disruptions caused by inclement weather or facility closures. Decisions to delay or suspend service are made to protect residents, our crews, and equipment.

Due to these circumstances, credits or refunds will not be issued for missed pickups related to weather related delays or closures.

We ask for your patience and understanding during severe weather events. Once conditions improve and facilities reopen, service will resume as soon as possible.

Again, we thank you for your patience and understanding during these events.

Just a quick note about some changes to the schedule for Christmas and New Year's week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will follow the usual schedule. Thursday and Friday will happen one day later than usual.
