Being self-employed means I'm the CEO, CFO, HR department, marketing team, and the person who has to refill the printer paper. 📎

Perks of working for myself:
✅ Amazing boss (very understanding, gives herself great reviews)
✅ Flexible dress code (leggings are technically business casual)
✅ I approve my own PTO requests... but first make sure my animals will be taken care of!
✅ Every meeting could have been an email, and I'm the one who scheduled it

The best part? Every decision is mine. Which means every mistake is too, but let's focus on the wins. Like booking dream vacations for amazing clients. ✈️🌴

So here's to everyone who took the leap, built something from scratch, and still answers their own phone at 9 p.m. (well, during business hours, of course 😉).

Think you can't afford it?

Have you ever looked at a trip and immediately thought, “That’s probably out of my budget”?

You might be surprised.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned after planning trips for 5+ years is that travelers often have a number in their head for what a destination must cost — without knowing what different travel dates, resorts, room categories, flights or packages can do to the price.

Sometimes moving the dates a few days, choosing a different room category or looking at another resort can completely change what’s possible.

That doesn’t mean every trip fits every budget. But before you cross a destination off your list, find out what it actually costs.

You may be a lot closer to that bucket-list trip than you think. ✈️

What's one vacation mistake you've made that you'll never make again? 🫣

🤦🏽‍♀️ Mine would be flying into Cancun to vacation in Cozumel! The ferry's are unpredictable with weather, currents, and being on-time let alone trying to plan transfers to/from the ferry dock to get across. Much easier route is to fly direct into Cozumel airport! ✈

Things I wish more travelers knew BEFORE booking their vacation… 👀🌴

Just because a resort looks amazing online doesn't mean it's going to be amazing for YOU!

I've been planning vacations for others just over 5 years, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the little details can make a BIG difference.

That gorgeous resort might have a rocky beach. That ocean view room might require a little creativity to actually see the ocean. 😂 And that incredible deal? It might not be such a deal once you factor in everything else.

And sometimes, the resort you've never even heard of ends up being the one you absolutely LOVE! ❤️

That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all vacations.

I want to know what matters to you. Are you a beach person? A foodie? Do you want a quiet getaway or somewhere with a little more action?
