“The People you meet on the Reek” was written by Patrick Connolly, based on his deep and profound connection with Ireland both through ancestry and personal experience. In this book, Patrick shares stories of the people he has met during his travels spanning over three decades; most notably while hiking the holy mountain of Croagh Patrick. I have not had the opportunity to read this book yet, but it promises to inspire and connect those who share the love of a place from where their ancestors emigrated.
