The Town of Ellington’s Crystal Lake AdHoc Milfoil Committee in collaboration with the Crystal Lake Association will by hosting Mary-Beth Kaeser of Horizon Wings on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Crystal Lake Elementary School, 59 South Road in Ellington as she presents a program on BIRDS OF PREY. Several program birds of prey will be at the presentation. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
Come and enjoy this educational program as Mary-Beth presents some of her program birds and talks about their stories, habitats and ways to protect them.
There will be a brief meeting of the Crystal Lake Association following the presentation.

Please join us for the 6th annual Fourth of July Boat Parade, This Sunday, July 5th at 1 PM Decorate your boats and celebrate. Don’t have a boat watch from shore. This is during quiet hours. We will do 2 laps. No towing of any kind and please keep a safe distance to the boat in front of you. Boats will meet at the north end of the lake, near the grey raft closest to the dam at 12:45 PM. Non-motorized boats can also participate but are asked to remain on the shore side of the motorized boats. In the event or a cancellation due to rain we will post on our website, Facebook and Instagram.
