Disney has officially shared a first look at The Wetlands, the incredible outdoor recreation area coming to the brand-new Disney Lakeshore Lodge, opening Summer 2027! 🏡☀️

Nestled along the shores of Bay Lake, this nature-inspired resort will blend Disney storytelling with the beauty of the great outdoors.

The Wetlands will feature:
🦢 Heron Shores – Interactive climbing and play areas
🦦 Otter Springs – Splash-filled water play for little adventurers
🌊 Daydream River – A relaxing lazy river winding through the resort
🏖️ Lakeside Lagoon – A zero-entry pool complete with a spiral waterslide
✨ Perspective Pond – A leisure pool and whirlpool spa with views of Magic Kingdom fireworks

Inspired by beloved Disney classics like Pocahontas, Bambi, and Brother Bear, Disney Lakeshore Lodge is designed to help families slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience Disney magic in a whole new way.

✨ I am so excited about this news for Disney’s BoardWalk! ✨

I've absolutely LOVE the atmosphere at Disney's BoardWalk. With its charming setting inspired by the classic coastal boardwalks of Atlantic City and Coney Island, it’s already one of my favorite areas at Walt Disney World - and now there’s even more to look forward to beginning in late 2026!

🎭 One of the biggest additions will be Hurly-Burly, a new waterfront lounge designed around a historic seaside theater theme. During the day, families can enjoy trivia, games, and interactive entertainment led by a lively host. In the evenings, the space transforms into a sophisticated 21+ venue featuring live music, coastal-inspired cocktails, and light bites.

As someone who already loves spending time at the BoardWalk, I can't wait to experience Hurly-Burly and see how it adds to the area's unique entertainment and nightlife offerings.

Perfect for larger families, each villa sleeps up to 9 guests and features a full kitchen, washer/dryer, spacious living areas, and private deck space for making magical memories together. ✨
