McMinn County Radio Control Association

The McMinn County Radio Control Association is an Academy of Model Aeronautics Gold Leader Chartered Club. The club was chartered in 1978 and consists of Radio Control Pilots from McMinn County and the surrounding area. These are individuals who enjoy flying, building and having fellowship with other model aviation enthusiast. All members must be an AMA Member. You will find that there are many ty

pes of RC Aircraft to build and fly. You can buy already–to-fly aircraft or build a model from a kit. There are RC airplanes of all shapes and sizes, gliders, helicopters, quads and special designed aircraft. The McMinn County Radio Control Association welcomes all Pilots and Guest. Each pilot flying field must be an AMA member. Club monthly meeting is held on the third Saturday of each month at 4 pm at the Flying Field. The Location of the Clubs flying field is on the Harry Morgan Farm, 126 CoRd 876, Etowah, TN. Directions: From Hwy 411 take Hwy 310 (2.6 miles) cut Right on CoRd 475 go (.5 mile) cut Left on CoRd 876, cross bridge, first driveway on right, look for pine trees on right of driveway, cut right at the 9th pine tree, FOLLOW SIGNS into Flying Field area.
