This piece is something I am very proud of. I had to custom draw it, as I couldn't print the right size for the wood. Getting the pick axes to look right might have been the hardest part, other than the stringing itself.

Sneek peek. This is all I can show until this piece is given to the person, but I am super proud of it thus far!

Behind the scenes:

For reference this piece is a rounded piece of would that is 12" in diameter.

15 minutes staining wood
2 hours drawing and ensuring accuracy. This is the most symmetrical piece i may have ever had the honor of doing
½ hour mapping and marking out nail placement
3 hours of hammering nails into the wood

The piece is now ready for me to pull the "stencil" off and start to string up.

Trying to gage interest. Would anyone be interested in any holiday themed mini pieces? Minis would range from 10-25 depending on size and complexity/detail. Trucks with objects in the bed would be $45+ based on the size requested but would need to be at least 5x7. I could have Halloween/Fall pieces done by the end of this weekend.

I am officially taking orders now for the coming holidays. Yes, it is only September 🍂 🍁, but each piece can take as little as a day all the way to a week to complete depending complexity and size of the design.

Now that I have shared this piece with the wonderful lady that ordered it and it will be delivered to her soon, I can share it with everyone else! Even hubby got in on the designing of it and convinced me to add the butterfly detail in the wings. I love love love the way this turned out!
