✈️ Meet the Team: Andy Miller
If you've spent much time around United Companies Air Center, chances are you've crossed paths with Andy Miller, our Day Shift Line Supervisor.
Andy is one of those people who helps keep everything moving without ever needing the spotlight. Whether he's coordinating ramp operations, helping a teammate, or stepping in wherever he's needed, Andy is always looking out for the operation and the people around him.
He's the kind of person everyone can count on. Around here, when we hear Andy's voice on the radio respond with a simple "Roger," we know we're good. Whatever needs done is going to get done—and it's going to get done well. His reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make him an invaluable part of our team.
Andy is also a key contributor on our Quality Improvement Team. He doesn't just represent the line staff—he serves as a voice for our customers, flight crews, and passengers as well. Because he's in the middle of the operation every day, he has a unique perspective on what works well and where we can improve. His input helps ensure we're continually finding ways to enhance both the employee experience and the customer experience, and he's never afraid to roll up his sleeves to help make those improvements happen. Just as importantly, Andy is someone who follows through, helping turn good ideas and conversations into meaningful action.
He's also always good for a laugh. Whether it's easing the tension during a busy day, throwing out a well-timed comment when things get hectic, or keeping everyone smiling during the quieter moments, Andy has a way of making the workplace a little more enjoyable for everyone around him.
And when he's not at United Companies Air Center, there's a good chance you'll find him enjoying some well-deserved R&R at the lake during the summer. After helping keep things running smoothly and supporting everyone around him, he's certainly earned the chance to kick back and recharge.
Around United Companies Air Center, "Roger" has become a pretty reassuring word when it comes from Andy. It's a small thing, but it says a lot about who he is—dependable, steady, hardworking, and someone you can always count on. Add in a great sense of humor, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a willingness to help anyone who needs it, and you've got a teammate we're all grateful to work alongside.
