You missed out Today. When you see this it’s time to Train! It’s Crazy. With Well over 60 Students and with all the bad weather, schedule has been empty. I mean today. High overcast, alittle light rain scattered, YOU COULDN’T Dial in BETTER Training Weather. Smooth and light winds and it all went to waste with completely empty schedule. Crazy that Saturdays continue to be the slowest days out here.
If your thinking about Training and Need Weekends we have plenty of Availability.

Don’t forget about our Discount Flight Club. Designed for those planning to train and rent for long term. It’s alittle creative but you get you initial investment back over the term.

✈️ Introducing the X-Cell Aviation Flight Club
Lock in Flight Discounts for the Next 5 Years
Only 10 Memberships Available!
If you're planning to train or fly regularly, the X-Cell Aviation Flight Club lets you secure long-term hourly discounts while keeping the value of your membership.
Unlike traditional flight clubs or prepaid blocks, your membership fee is refundable through several flexible options.
This program is designed for pilots who plan to train or rent consistently over the next 5 years and want to lock in discounted hourly rates.

💰 How the Membership Works
Members make a one-time upfront membership payment that provides:

✔ Discounted aircraft rental and instruction
✔ Predictable hourly savings for up to 5 years
✔ Refund of the membership fee through multiple options

At the end of the membership term, the fee can be:
• 100% refunded in cash
• Split between flight account credits and cash
• Returned entirely through flight account credits
The membership is structured so pilots who fly regularly can reduce hourly costs while still recovering the membership value over time.

📊 Example Scenarios Full Contract Details Link available on the Bottom of the Page.

Aircraft Rental Rate Example: $145/hr

SCENARIO 1
$5,000 Membership (Tier 1)
Refund Election: 75% Flight Account / 25% Cash Out
Discount Option Chosen: $7 per hour for up to 50 hours

Step 1 — Refund Structure
• Membership Fee: $5,000
• 75% to Flight Account = $3,750
• 25% Cash Out at end of 5 years = $1,250
Flight Account Portion:
• $3,750 ÷ 60 months = $62.50 credited monthly
Note: The Flight Account receives $62.50 every month for 60 months.

Example: 1 Hour Flight (Month 1)
Aircraft Rental Rate: $145/hr
Discount Selected: $7/hr
Step A — Apply Hourly Discount
$145.00
− $7.00 discount
= $138.00 adjusted rate

Step B — Apply Flight Account Credit
(Flight account may cover up to 50% of the adjusted transaction)
50% of $138.00 = $69.00 maximum eligible credit
Available in Month 1: $62.50
Since $62.50 < $69.00 max allowed:
• $62.50 paid from Flight Account
• Remaining charged to credit card:
$138.00 − $62.50 = $75.50 charged to card

Summary of 1-Hour Flight
Full Rate: $145.00
Discount: −$7.00
Flight Account Applied: −$62.50
Amount Charged to Card: $75.50
Effective out-of-pocket cost that hour: $75.50
Total benefit received that hour: $69.50 ($7 discount + $62.50 credit)

Monthly & Annual Account Growth
Monthly credit added: $62.50
Annual total added to account:
$62.50 × 12 = $750 per year
Over full 5 years:
$750 × 5 = $3,750 (matches 75%)

End of Year Discount Value (50 Hours Used)
50 hours × $7 = $350 total annual discount
That equals the full annual discount available under Tier 1.

SCENARIO 2
$10,000 Membership (Tier 2)
Refund Election: 50% Flight Account / 50% Cash Out
Discount Option Chosen: $20 per hour for up to 50 hours

Step 1 — Refund Structure
• Membership Fee: $10,000
• 50% to Flight Account = $5,000
• 50% Cash Out at end of 5 years = $5,000
Flight Account Portion:
• $5,000 ÷ 60 months = $83.33 credited monthly
Note: The Flight Account receives $83.33 every month for 60 months.

Example: 1 Hour Flight (Month 1)
Aircraft Rental Rate: $145/hr
Discount Selected: $20/hr

Step A — Apply Hourly Discount
$145.00
− $20.00 discount
= $125.00 adjusted rate

Step B — Apply Flight Account Credit
(Up to 50% of adjusted transaction)
50% of $125.00 = $62.50 max eligible credit
Available in Month 1: $83.33
Since $83.33 exceeds the 50% cap:
• $62.50 applied from Flight Account
• Remaining balance charged to credit card:
$125.00 − $62.50 = $62.50 charged to card
Unused account balance carries forward.

Summary of 1-Hour Flight
Full Rate: $145.00
Discount: −$20.00
Flight Account Applied: −$62.50
Amount Charged to Card: $62.50
Effective out-of-pocket cost that hour: $62.50
Total benefit received that hour: $82.50 ($20 discount + $62.50 credit)

Monthly & Annual Account Growth
Monthly credit added: $83.33
Annual total added to account:
$83.33 × 12 ≈ $1,000 per year
Over full 5 years:
$1,000 × 5 = $5,000 (matches 50%)

End of Year Discount Value (50 Hours Used)
50 hours × $20 = $1,000 total annual discount
That equals the full annual discount available under Tier 2.

Clean Comparison Snapshot

Because we need Less Decent Days in 2026🙄🙄😭

I don’t love this 😕⛈️ Indiana is likely to return to a stormy pattern for the 2nd half of May.

We are at peak severe weather season. A return to stormy skies is not unusual. We’ve had a decent little break the first half of May, albeit with some chilly air at times.

IMPORTANT: Rain and storm chances will be on-and-off. Expect nice days too with sunshine (hopefully Indy 500 and Memorial Day Weekend). ☀️🏎️

WHY?
The jet stream is likely to be positioned SW to NE over the central United States, which should help strengthen low pressure systems and direct them toward the Midwest.

Plus add more humidity and warmth from the Gulf.

This isn’t a hype post, just a friendly heads that a cranky weather pattern will start returning this weekend and likely the rest of May.

Enjoy the break while we have it!

Murphy’s Law….

Schedule Packed = 30 knots winds or Low Clouds Rain.

Clear and Less than 20 knot winds = Empty Schedules.

I know Broken Record, but it has to be understood anyone who thinks about being a pilot. Especially in training, MOTHER NATURE CONTROLS your life.
If you’re serious on training to be a pilot you have to be available and chase the good weather.
In 2025 we had less than 120 days that were “Good” to Train. 2026 Starting worse! Windiest I’ve ever seen. Missing these opportunities drastically changes your timeline and costs. To much time between lessons means more lessons to hone in your skills.

Just an FYI we are expecting a huge surge for the summer. All the College and High School students swarming the schedule. Do t miss out on these nice empty schedule days.
