Hello Mesabi Trail users! Keys were found by landfill rd near Virginia. They are at Mesabi Station to claim if you can describe them. Next a pack was found at the map in picture by Soudan and Hwy 169. It is at that location to claim. Thank your for the good people to send messages and let Mesabi Trail know.

Open House is today form 8am-10am at the Mesabi Station at 111 Station 44 Road, Eveleth, MN. There will be coffee and pastries, merchandise for sale, and learn about the history of the trail. 30 years of building a trail and welcoming tourism in our area.

Thank you to all that came and supported the grand opening 30 years celebration of Mesabi Trail! We hope you enjoyed the food, music, trail ride and kids ride! Club Mesabi values all that support the trail! Thank you to Cameron Elijah Erickson for music, Mesabi Recreation Guy Galivants, City of Tower, awesome food trucks, St Louis and Lake County Regional Rail Authority, Itasca County, Spring Higley, business', Mark Sauer Photography, and best followers of Mesabi Trail! Now we have a ribbon cutting in Tower Tuesday Sept 15, 2026 and Mesabi Station Open House Wednesday from 8am-10am to learn about the trails history!

There will be a bike parade and bike ride on September 12, 2026 for free for all kids starting at 4pm in Tower Park in Tower, MN. Bring your kids and enjoy some great activities! Spring Higley from Itasca County will be putting this event on!

Our maintenance have been working hard on putting on stencils in intersections to help guide you on the Mesabi Trail. While we want you to enjoy the scenery, check intersections on ground to help navigate the trail. This might take some time to get through all 28 communities, but we will do our best till seasonal help is gone for summer. Check out the pics!
