You guys need to check this out! Gamelan is happening!!! This is comprised of Indonesian gongs and keyed percussion instruments. The master Javanese Gamelan musician, Heri Purwanto, is performing at UW Meany Hall on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Our entire team is moving all these incredible unique instruments from the School of Music to Meany Hall. It's a massive delicate undertaking. Hoot! Hoot! This is a full weekend of Yamaha piano rental deliveries (TWENTY THREE PIANOS GOING OUT!) to support both the North Lake Music Educators Association Solo & Ensemble at Lake Washington High School and the MPMEA Sr. Division Solo & Ensemble Contest at Arlington High School. These are incredible opportunities for high school musicians to perform in front of professional judges, hone their skills and craft, and even qualify for State.

We are BIG supporters of music in our schools! Music is essential in life but even more so in schools, where it offers a sense of belonging and community and even helps students do better on exams.

A giant SHOUT OUT to all the students participating and putting themselves out there to learn, grow, and experience! We are excited for you!

We are excited to a part of the upcoming Solo & Ensemble events around the region! 🤸🥇 We will deliver 32 of our rental Yamaha pianos ♪♫ 🎹 over the next two weeks to support competitions showcasing talented hardworking High School musicians! 💪💥 These students perform in front of professional judges, receive valuable feedback, and even compete for State! It's a big deal!
