Chased some Tonka bass this past week! Fish are scattered in shallow water. We’ve been finding them from 2ft - 8ft. Water temperatures are warming up. We have a few dates left in May so give Gregg a shout to get on the books. Tight lines 🎣

First trip of the season is in the books. Clients from Mexico wanted to catch some pike. They caught their first pike and first musky as a bonus! It definitely was a surprise!Had some nice bass as well. Everything was caught on Z-Man Fishing Products

Another Minnesota opener in the books! The boys and I had a little of everything. Bite was tough for us but we managed to put some fish in the boat. Water temps are still in the low 50s and that wind this morning limited where we fished! Seasons underway and I hope everyone had a fun opener! Tight lines 🎣

Wisconsin fishing opener is this coming weekend and then it’ll be Minnesota fishing opener! It’s always a great time to catch a variety of fish from bass, crappies, northern pike, and walleye. Another chilly morning on the lake. Chased some Tonka largemouth today. Water temps are still really cool. Once we located a few they had that Zman bait down their throat! Biggest bass went 20 inches. We are just 2 weeks from Minnesota fishing opener! Tight lines 🎣

It definitely didn’t feel like spring out on the lake this morning. However, it did feel great to be back in the boat. The fish we found were out a little deeper and a bobber was the only way we could get bit. Warmest water temperature we saw was 49. Next week should be warmer and those water temps should rebound. My spring road trip has come to an end. Great start to this spring fishing season! Weather was a little crazy. From 80 degrees to 20’s and snow showers. Spent time in Wisconsin and Illinois chasing fish! Caught everything on Zman’s elaztech baits. No live bait needed! Caught a bunch of nice walleyes on a variety of baits. The slim swimz in opening night really stood out this past week. All my big fish came on that bait. Good luck this spring fishing season! Tight lines 🎣
