Here are answers to the frequently received questions:

What kind of items? Everything from desks, to wall decor, chairs, couches, lamps, coffee pots, color printer - think of a high-functioning office environment

What type of payment will be accepted? Cash, Venmo and CC

Can I shop and pick up later? Only the items paid in full can be held, but only until Saturday, May 7th at 12pm.

What is the pricing? Varies. Items will be priced on May 5th at 1pm.

Stay Tuned!

One of the best compliments is how much you โค๏ธ the decor at the CoLounge.

Dates will be posted soon for our liquidation sale which will take place in early May. All furnishings will be sold, including desks, tables, sofas and wall hangings.

The only thing not going are the ๐Ÿชด as I'll have a little more time to work on my ๐Ÿ’š thumb!

One of our most beloved courses offered at the CoLounge is almost here - The Business of Babysitting!

Before babysitters are in HIGH DEMAND, let's ensure they have the entrepreneur tools to tap into their business.

Taught by Jessica Zuik - Redefining Health Pediatric Nurse and American Heart Association CPR Instructor, this class will cover:
1. What is the role of the babysitter & how do you think like a babysitter?
2. Building a babysitting business and making money.
3. Child development. - safety, playing, feeding and caring for the different age groups.
4. American Heart Association CPR, safety, and first aid.

After the course each child will leave with everything they need to feel confident to feel empowered and aware of the value they create as a babysitter.

When I made the tough decision to not extend the current CoLounge space and informed my girls, they were bummed to say the least.

As a mom of girls, I try to remember to show up and be seen, to celebrate not only the triumphs, but also those brave moments that show our strength. Let them see that there's more to just being their mother.

They've been by my side working on this space for over 2 years. Often rolling up their sleeves to help out or having fun speeding across the wide open floor on the wheeled chairs ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Nevertheless, my hope is they realize that they too can go after their big ideas full-on and know they can make a difference too โค๏ธ

Last month a local organization was in desperate need of space to meet with their volunteer organization for three seperate evening events in order to successfully launch their busy season. No other locations in the area could accommodate their request within budget...except the CoLounge!

If you are seeking an afforable, yet professional space to host that last minute group meeting this month ~ look no further!

The CoLounge has a few remaining evening slots available that is ideal for groups up to 25. The space comes equipped with use of tables, chairs and the large TV display. You even have the flexibility to bring your own food and drink on-site.

Lots of โค๏ธ from so many movers and shakers in the community that I've been blessed to get to know about the tough decision to close this space. I appreciate all the messages, the high-fives and the well-wishes for what's next ~ because you know there is always something that is coming! Truly, it is because of YOU that allowed this space to thrive in such a time of change.

I am excited for the upcoming events that will be celebrated here over the coming weeks, these walls will witness plenty of smiles and hugs and at the end of the month those nurtured relationships that started here, will continue to their next journey.

This isn't the end of it. This is the beginning of what's to come. The CoLounge was only a space that helped blossom the future!

In 2020, I launched an idea that was important to our area - creating stronger connections in our community through coworking and events. While the idea was bright, no one could foresee the impact and duration the pandemic would have.

The CoLounge has fulfilled what many sought out...a space to just BE themselves and focus on their passion. A space which has served as an outlet to meet others and connect. The CoLounge truly delivered on its motto "a space to connect, collaborate and cowork."

As 2022 got underway, I knew a long-term decision on the future of the CoLounge would need made and while at the same time keeping the needs of my family, which suffered multiple significant family losses in 2021, in perspective. As a person who values transparency and authenticity in relationships and the community that has supported The CoLounge, it is unfortunate that I have made the decision to close the CoLounge as of April 30th.

This decision was not solely based on business, as inquiries continue to show the need for the coworking and event space in our community, but as a woman in business, in our community, I need to empower myself to lean into what is best for me, my family and my mental stability -- even if that decision is hard.

The CoLounge was the first space in our area to invite collaborative connections in a professional, ambient space and it won't be the last! As a business owner who thrives on being a 'Community Connector', I am excited for what's ahead in this 'flex-space' arena.

Until April 30th, the CoLounge will continue to provide our Daily Lounger drop-in bookings, conference room and event space bookings. No membership plans will exist and all current members were previously notified of this closure.
