We have a large paved drop off area, and will assist you with unloading if needed. We also provide 20 yard and 30 yard containers for scrap metal produced at machine shops, factories, drilling sites, coal mines and other places. We have pick truck service and trucking available for larger jobs, as well as MSHA certified cutters for offsite work.

Scrap prices are on fire! Now is the time to clean out your basement or garage, or offer to do it for your neighbor! Who knows how long this spike will last, so get it while the getting is good! Current prices as of January 5, 2021 are $6.00 CWT for shredder/tin, and $2.30/lb. for #1 copper!

Scrap prices are miserable right now. Prices are lower than 1997. This is the result of a perfect storm in the steel industry which has driven prices to the lowest level in years. Trust me when I say that this hurts us tremendously. We want prices to go up as much as you do. But rest assured that we will continue to give you the best service every day. And, keep recycling because it is the right thing to do!

Hello everyone! Let me update you on the status of the scrap metal industry. Prices are falling hard and fast. Trust me when I tell you that we hate this as much as you do. However, there are at least five steel mills who have went through intentional or accidental shutdowns in the last month or so. These mills have an excessive inventory of scrap. In addition, there are worldwide economic factors involved, not the least of which are problems in China and Brazil. Lastly, orders of new steel are down. With all of the issues colliding, the mills simply don't need as much scrap right now, Since they don't need the material, they aren't going to pay high prices for it. We will be here throughout this storm, still providing you with good service, and the best prices we can offer. Please call with any questions you may have!

Scrap prices are not great right now, but I believe that we still have the best buying prices in the area. Also, remember that we sell reconditioned auto batteries, for $50, plus a $10 core charge. These have a six month, unconditional, 100% warranty. In addition, we also have good condition used tires, which range in price from $20 to $40 each, depending on the wear.

Don't forget that we have reconditioned batteries, WITH A SIX MONTH WARRANTY! If anything happens within six months, bring it back and we will replace it for free! They are only $50 plus a $10 core. That is lass than half the price of a new battery! Call to see if we have your battery in stock!

3/4 wear or better = $40
1/2 to 3/4 wear = $30
1/4 to 1/2 wear = $20
Less than 1/4 we will not sell. The grading is based on our estimate and we are not negotiable. There is no guarantee of matching sets such as brand or style. Rims are not included. There is NO WARRANTY. These tires came from cars that we purchased, and held air when we removed them. That is all we can say about them.
