Job Description
H2 Resolution is a family owed company looking for Home Appliance Delivery Installer. This position is responsible for on time delivery of home appliances to our customer's home or business. Drivers need to be able to have effective communication with their team members, can follow verbal and written directions, and are able to operate both independently and as a part of a team environment. Familiarity with the Detroit Metropolitan Areas and have a clean driving record are required.
Essential Duties/ Job Requirements:
Safely load/unload, deliver and Install major household appliances to customer's homes (Laundry, Kitchen, Cooking and Refrigeration)
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are for Deliver new product, move/remove old appliances are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and how to check for leaks
Provide excellent service and customer care during the delivery and installation of appliances in customers' home
Know how to dismantle and reassemble appliance
Instruct customers on how to operate the appliance properly
Ability to estimate delivery times bases on customer location, appliance load, and installation time
Good mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble product being delivered
Ability to safely lift in a two-person team and maneuver up to 500lb appliances in tight or awkward spaces with minimum damage to the appliance or customer's home or business
Ability to maintain polite, respectful demeanor and good customer relations in spite of possible customer dissatisfaction.
Analyze situations and make quick decisions to solve problems effectively as a Major Appliance Installer
Disconnects and reconnects appliance. Ensure all gas and water lines are connected properly
Maintain clean work area, leaving installation area clean and unharmed
Operate a hand truck or dolly as a Major Appliance Installer as a Major Appliance Installer
Level, set and install any hookups associated with appliances
Observes and test operation of appliance following installation and making any initial installation adjustments that are necessary
Instructs customers regarding operation and care of appliance
Maintains stock of parts used in on-site installation
Performs daily safety check on truck
Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines
Be safety oriented, follow proper lifting procedures and team lift when necessary

Required Experiences
Education: Training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience
Experience: 2 years of appliance installation or related experience
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to drive 26ft truck
Ability to pass a DOT physical per state requirements
Able to lift up to 500lbs in two person team
Must be authorized to work in US
Must have clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background history
Able to pass a drug screen at entry and a random drug test anytime
Must have mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things
