Tate Rainey grew up ringside, watching his dad sell cattle with skill and passion. Every facet of the livestock world captivated him. After college, he started working in the sale barn as a ringman and sorting alley hand, trying to soak up as much knowledge about the business as he could.
Now heading into World Livestock Auctioneer Championship semifinals, he says he’s excited for the invaluable experience.
“It spotlights the livestock industry at its best,” Tate says. “Through honest, true marketing of cattle and mastery of the craft.”
