Robert Barrows (Bob), is the owner of R&B Aircraft and the designer of the Bearhawk 4-place, Bearhawk Patrol and Bearhawk LSA. R&B Aircraft was founded in1979 as primarily and aircraft engine business catering to home-builders. In the early 1990s Bob began work designing and building his four place Bearhawk which was powered by an Lycoming O360. In the late 1990s Bob decided to build another four

place Bearhawk but with the O-540 Lycoming of 260 HP for power. R&B Aircraft now sells the plans for the Bearhawk 4-place, Bearhawk Patrol and the Bearhawk LSA; all of which were designed by Mr. Mark Goldberg's N303AP was the first Bearhawk built from a kit to fly, completed after 15 1/2 months of work by Mark and his mechanic friend Justin Brown. Bearhawk Aircraft owner Mark Goldberg works closely with Barrows in that Bob supplies the plans and Mark through Bearhawk Aircraft supplies the components and kits.
