Dear Friends,
After many years of managing the cottages, the time has come for me to turn the page and begin a new chapter.
This decision is incredibly bittersweet, and without a doubt, the hardest part is saying goodbye to all of you.
Over the years, my absolute favorite part of my time here has been welcoming you back season after season. I’ve had the privilege of watching your families grow, hearing about your adventures, sharing in your summer traditions, and picking up right where we left off each year. Somewhere along the way, so many of you became much more than guest, you became dear friends.
I hope you know just how much you’ve meant to me. Your kindness, laughter, stories, and friendship have made these years so special. While my time managing the cottages is coming to an end, the memories and friendships I’ve made here will always hold a special place in my heart.
And although I won’t be welcoming you back to the cottages next summer, this certainly doesn’t have to be goodbye! Steve and I hope our paths will continue to cross in Fish Creek. Please stop by our family business, Welcker’s Lounge, and say hello. We’d absolutely love to see you!
Thank you for being such a wonderful part of this chapter of my life. I wish you and your families nothing but health, happiness, and many more beautiful Door County summers ahead.
