Last week, we had the pleasure of giving NAU Summer Campers a behind the scenes tour of the airport and a glimpse into all the action that happens here every day. We love inspiring curious minds and introducing them to the world of aviation. Highlights included a visit to Guardian Air and some hands on exploration of a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter. A huge thank you to all our airport partners who helped make the experience extra special for the campers!💙

As of Tuesday, July 7, the Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) that was impacting commercial airline operations has been lifted. Please keep in mind that fire behavior can change quickly, and additional airspace restrictions may be put in place if conditions shift. With the Pocket Fire now 51% contained, we are hopeful this will not be necessary. A huge thank you to all the heroes who have worked tirelessly to protect our community from the Pocket Fire. A small airport in Arizona’s High Country is about to get a major upgrade.

✈️ Starting May 21, service between Flagstaff and Dallas-Fort Worth will be upgraded to an Airbus A319, more than doubling seat capacity and marking the first time a mainline aircraft will serve Flagstaff Pulliam Airport!

This means more space, more comfort, and more connections for travelers flying in and out of our community. 🌎

With the recent Executive Order approving back pay for TSA employees affected by the partial government shutdown, FLG will no longer be accepting donations in accordance with federal guidelines.
