86.4 today out of the 721ZXL on the limiter. The Torquemaster hung in there but it’s time for a sporty to she what she’ll do. Definitely more on the table!

Finally got the 2026 Phoenix 721 ZXL on the water after basketball season!!! Boat rides very impressive, handles great and even catches fish!
She ran 85.1 solo with a stock used 26 fury on the limiter, fishing load with water in the wells and fuel, 20 rods& tackle, 2 graphs, power pole move ZR troller, 5 lithium batteries and 12” Bobs plate. She ended up @ 3 1/4 below pad with the fury, any higher and she wouldn’t pick the front up enough to run. I’m sure the tempest I’ll be able to go on up another 1/2 to 3/4 inch before blowing out. Needs more prop for sure.
Going to run a tempest plus 26-27 soon and it should take the Torquemaster to the limit. Then we’ll put a sporty on her and shoot for low 90’s. These hulls are extremely easy to drive at speed & you can tell she wants more prop!!! More testing coming soon!

Got the Phoenix home and started the rigging process. We’ll keep you all posted on the entire process and performance numbers!!!

Forgot to post numbers on the 2012 21SS/300R setup!!!
She handled like she was on rails and drove like a 21SS!!!
101.5 mph with the 300R and a 32 Max5! Ran out of room on the small lake we were on. I think in the right conditions with very light load 103-105 would be doable! What a fun rig!

She really liked the 5 blade props for fishing and a number! Handled great and had really good mid range punch with the brv5 28&30 pitch props. The 32 max5 was the top end prop! I’m sure the clever 5 blade would turn a better number.
