Our drivers transport students on regular school routes, field trips, and to athletic events. We also provide transportation for summer camps, so the opportunities don’t stop when school lets out. October 2026 School Bus School

We are holding two school bus schools as described below:
Saturday, October 24th-New Drivers (ELDT and school bus credit) and Recertifying Drivers (school bus credit)
Sunday, October 25th-New Drivers Only (ELDT and school bus credit)

Class will be held at the Nichols Bus garage, 16036 State Route 407, Fleetville, PA. The course will run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on both days. Attendees should arrive by 7:50 AM for registration. We will have a one hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks. Attendees must arrive on time and attend the entire class to receive credit. The second day of class will follow the same schedule.

Please notify your school bus drivers. ***New drivers must attend both dates of the class at Nichols Bus to meet the ELDT and school bus classroom requirements. Recertification drivers may only attend the Saturday class. Prior notification of intent to attend is appreciated but not required. However, space is limited and preference is given to those that sign up in advance. Drivers must bring a valid driver’s license. The cost of the course is $30/day.

NOW HIRING SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS

Looking for a new opportunity? Nichols Bus in Fleetville, PA is hiring full-time and part-time school bus drivers, and qualified candidates can get paid while training to earn their CDL and school bus qualifications.

You do not need to already have a CDL to apply. We’re looking for dependable people with a good driving record who are willing to learn. We’ll provide qualified candidates with the training needed to get behind the wheel.

We currently have opportunities for:
• A new regular route for the 2026–2027 school year
