Responsibilities and Duties
We're looking for capable and dedicated Owner Operators that have CDL class A License and willing to lease their trucks on to us and run under our Authority. Owner Operators are responsible for the pick-up and the delivery of our customer's freight in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Functions:
• Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Inspect their trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate safety personnel.
• Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
• Get goods to client on time.
• Take rest periods during trip
• Maintain HOS logs during trips.

Qualifications
• Preferably 12 months verifiable driving experience(6 months minimum)
• CDL, Class A
• Clean Driving Record
• Must pass DOT Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Current DOT Physical
• Minimum 23 years of Age

Job Summary:

Our Broker Dispatcher, will oversee the brokered freight activities including:

Coordinate daily rate requests and provide customer service for all areas relating to brokered shipments. Coordinate daily shipments and provide customer service for all areas relating to brokered shipments.Route, consolidate (when needed), and book shipments with carriers. Seek, establish, and maintain relationships with carriers to secure truck capacity to service our customer’s needs. Reduce costs and increase profits. Be self-disciplined and deliver results in a timely manner. Maintain and update database of contacts for carriers. Negotiate rates with carriers. Monitor service levels of carriers.

A great opportunity for a candidate with a drive to succeed and a "get it done" attitude. Experience is preffered but not required. Only applicants with the drive to succeed and provide exceptional service should apply.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Customer Service).Must possess a strong sense of urgency & thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Solid negotiation skills. Ability to multitask.
