When I say my dreams are slowly becoming a reality, this is what I mean. My dream was to become the best Marine Technician I could be in my early twenties. Quickly a new goal in my life was to become a Master Mercury Technician. After starting my own business and years of thinking it’ll never happen bc I wasn’t a Mercury dealer, and my business was growing so why stop a good thing…. Well, about 5 years ago I decided to take a chance and applied to become a Mercury dealer, all they could say was no right?! Long story short 5 years later here I am, putting MYSELF in Mercury University through MY OWN MERCURY DEALERSHIP!!!! I am Probably the ONLY technician on Lake Lanier that has this certification. I can’t even start to say how much I appreciate everyone who has helped me get to where I am so far, but I’m not done yet. By the end of this year I will be a MASTER MERCURY TECHNICIAN! Making a dream become a reality. I’m so thankful for everything I have, it’s been hard work but I’m doing it and never gave up.

Taking a Saturday to work on the shop boat! 🤙🏼 New sea deck coming all the way around and in cabin. Fresh powder coating. Trialer repainted last. New tires. She’s about to be ready!

Now this is an interesting Repower where the performance is a lot better than the math is mathin!!!! 😳 we used the current rigging on the boat and just changed the rigging in the back as you can tell, we added a rigging tube and fl**ge using the existing hole where all The old rigging went in, then we cut new holes for the hydraulic steering lines to come out and re-ran the transducer back to the same hole with the lines, that way it’s got an updated super clean super protected rigging. Well we ran the boat and got a whopping 4700 RPMs at 58 miles an hour.🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ Now that’s really good numbers for the RPM but really bad RPM numbers… Well come to find out after running live Data and seeing that we were only getting 75% power by demand we realize that the throttle cable was stretched. After changing the throttle cable we got full power still only got 5200 RPMs but went up to an astonishing 67 mph. 🤙🏼Our next step before we do any kind of prop change is we’re going to raise the Jack plate up. Get a few more pulls and get some more numbers but crazy enough if the math is mathing, this is going to be an 80+MPH Boat with a 175ProXS! Once it’s dialed in this boat is going to be running with the big boys running the 250’s! This Blazer is going to be blazing!!!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

We’ve been quiet lately in social media but it’s bc we’ve been working! Takes hard work to be the best Mercury Dealer/Service center around! This boat had some water leaks, and loose hardware. We removed the engines resealed them to the back of the boat with added TH Marine lower transom support brackets. Tightened all the hardware in the rear of the boat, found a cracked water line for the intake to the toilet, plus a few other small things. This Beautiful Boat is ready for summer!
