OVERVIEW
As an inside Sales representative, you will be a part and involved in the creating and maintaining a highly-motivated, fast-paced team that thrives on exceeding sales goals while improving customers’ lives connecting them with Jade. You will ensure and hold yourself accountable for being responsible for everything from the initial greeting of the customer to closing the sale to becoming the customer’s personal international expert to growing the business and increasing profit. You must set the bar high and drive results. You must demonstrate ability — focusing on excellence and consistent ex*****on of Jade strategies.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
 Ensure that all sales targets/goals are being achieved
 Coaching, mentoring, and progression of all sales teams
 Communicate sales & promotional programs

 Ensure all sales and operational compliance.
 Ensure you are providing an extraordinary client experience. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

OPERATIONS
• Maintain all visual, housekeeping and appearance standards
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and general ethics and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
• Provide timely, accurate and informative feedback to senior management regarding performance

SELF MANAGEMENT
• Set examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills, and work habits
• Consistently and accurately record time & attendance including lunch breaks per Company Policy
• Adhere to schedule & provide company with adequate notice for all requested time off as per Employee Handbook
• Contribute to a respectful and professional work environment; free from discrimination, harassment or violence
• Anticipate problems and plan accordingly
• Take personal responsibility for all problems and take proactive action
• Follow the intent and the letter of company policies and procedures as outlined in the Handbook and/or communicated by Jade International Management from time to time
• Remain abreast of all changes within the international logistics and Customs clearance industry
• Utilize the employee website/intranet & all available resources to ensure awareness of company improvements
• Interact and cooperate with all company employees
• Maintain an energetic and positive “Do it Now” attitude
• Read and respond to all necessary emails in a timely fashion
• Adhere to any and all deadlines within the designated time frame

REQUIREMENTS
• At least 18 years old
• Able to work 5 days and 45 hours work week
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to bend & lift objects weighing 25lbs
• Up to date & Knowledgeable on logistics industry
• Computer Proficiency w/ MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and IES
• Must possess strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and trends
• Must check email frequently and respond to all correspondence as well as communicate to staff accordingly
• Must be reachable by phone every day during business hours

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating all logistics for cargo shipments, as well as anticipating and planning for all of the details that will ensure successful delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Communicate with and manage a variety of stakeholders including clients, airlines, truckers and overseas vendors as necessary.
• DDP/DAP rates quotes.
• Prepare necessary documents and ensure all tracking and tracing work is complete.
• Track and trace shipments from origin location to final destination as well as communicate/advise clients on shipment status.
• Ensure all shipment files contain all necessary documents and that shipment archives are updated and complete.
• Lead all client billings, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the files as well as compliance with all management requirements.
• Complete and provide clients with requested rates in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Very detail-oriented and strong capacity to multi-task effectively.
• Strong administrative, organization, and problem-solving skills required in order to manage and balance the positions demands.
• Able to handle deadlines, stress, and work in a fast-paced department.
• Ability to adjust to the changing needs within the organization and flexibility to change priorities as needed while meeting all deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, internally and externally.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Manage and oversee imports into the country.
• Track and trace shipments.
• Communicate with clients, carriers and overseas agents about the shipment progress.
• Compile carrier and route assignments.
• Compute international fees for each shipment.
• Have familiarity with import documentation.
• File ISF.
• Clear shipments through Customs; entries.
• Maintain all files ensuring they are billed correctly in accordance with procedures provided by management,

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma required or equivalent minimum.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and time management skills required for this fast-paced department. You must have the ability to handle high volumes and meet deadlines.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Competent knowledge of industry and industry terms.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
• This is a data entry position; you must be able to type and have basic computer skills.
