Hurricane season does not automatically mean you have to rule out the Caribbean. 🌴

It just means you need to choose your destination wisely.

That’s why the ABC Islands — Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao — are often recommended for travelers planning a Caribbean getaway during hurricane season. They sit farther south than many other Caribbean islands, which generally puts them outside the busiest hurricane paths.

A few things to know:

✅ They’re not truly “hurricane-proof”
No island can promise perfect weather.

✅ They are generally considered lower-risk
Their southern location makes them a smart option to discuss.

✅ They still deliver the Caribbean feel
Beautiful water, warm weather, beaches, culture, and plenty of resort options.

One of the easiest cruise cabin upgrades costs about $10: magnetic hooks. 🚢

Most cruise cabin walls and ceilings are metal, so magnetic hooks add extra storage space without taking up room in your suitcase.

They’re especially helpful for hanging:
✅ hats and lanyards
✅ light jackets or coverups
✅ swimsuits that need to dry
✅ small bags or backpacks
✅ cruise paperwork, schedules, or organizers

Why they help so much:
• cruise cabins are compact
• counter space is limited
• everyone needs a place to put their stuff
• a little extra organization can make the room feel much less cluttered

A few practical tips:

Bring strong ones.
Not all magnetic hooks are created equal, and the stronger ones work much better.

Use them right away.
The sooner you get organized, the easier it is to keep the cabin from feeling messy.

Think vertical.
Hooks help you use wall space instead of piling everything on chairs, counters, and beds.

Okay, this one deserves some attention. 👀

Nine days. Three countries. $1,499 per person.

Start in Zagreb. Follow Croatia’s coast through Zadar, Krka National Park and Split. Spend two nights in Dubrovnik. Continue to Kotor, Montenegro, before finishing in Tirana, Albania.

That is a LOT of Europe for $1,499.
