Three signs it's time to work with a travel advisor:

1. You have 27 tabs open and less clarity than when you started. Endless reviews contradict each other. We've been to these places and can tell you in one call what actually fits.

2. The trip matters. Honeymoon, big anniversary, a once-in-a-lifetime destination. When the stakes are high, guesswork gets expensive, and a wrong hotel choice can't be refunded in memories.

3. You're the one who plans everything for everyone, and you'd like to actually be on this vacation instead of running it.

A 90-minute spa treatment, included with every single night of your stay. That's the headline at Hoi An's newest resort.

Namia River Retreat opened on its own islet in the Thu Bon River, a short boat ride or bicycle pedal from Hoi An's lantern-lit Ancient Town. All 60 villas come with private pools, a first for Hoi An, and every stay is wellness-inclusive, built around Thuốc Nam, southern Vietnam's herbal medicine tradition. There's even an apothecary where you select your own herbs before treatments.

Vietnam has become one of our most requested countries, and this is a beautiful reason why. Reach out to learn more!

Want a noticeably better trip? Tell your advisor these five things up front.

Your pace: packed days or slow starts. There's no wrong answer, but there's definitely a wrong itinerary for each.

How much food matters: is dinner the main event of the day or just fuel between sights?

What went wrong on a past trip. This one is gold. One story about a hotel that missed tells us more than any wish list.

Your room priorities: the view, the bathtub, the quiet, the space. Ranked honestly.

And the one moment you're hoping for. A sunrise, a table, a reunion, a first. We build backward from that.

Honest answers in, better trip out. It really is that direct. Save this for your next planning call with us.

Travel + Leisure readers just voted this the best resort in Europe, and we could not agree more.

Castiglion del Bosco, a Rosewood hotel on a 5,000-acre estate in Montalcino, took the top resort spot in Europe in this year's World's Best Awards with a near-perfect score. Add two Michelin stars at Ristorante Campo del Drago, three Michelin Keys, and an estate w**ery producing its own Brunello di Montalcino, and the case pretty much makes itself.

Golfers, save this part. The estate is home to the only private golf club in Italy, a Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole course that hotel guests can actually play. Expect Val d'Orcia views on every hole and almost no one else on the course.

Ready to experience Europe's best resort for yourself? Reach out, and we'll handle every detail.

Do you really need a private guide? Sometimes no. Sometimes it transforms the entire trip. Here's how we call it.

Worth every penny: layered ancient sites like Egypt, Rome, Kyoto, and Machu Picchu, where the stones don't explain themselves and a great guide turns rubble into a story. Food cities, where the best stalls have no sign and no English menu. Wildlife, where a trained eye spots what you'd walk right past. And your first day somewhere intense, like Cairo or Delhi, where a guide turns chaos into context.

Skip it: beach weeks, cities you already know well, and days you've deliberately left open to wander.

The real secret is that who matters more than whether. A brilliant guide is the difference between a tour and a memory, and we keep a short list of the brilliant ones. Ask us about them.

One island. Safari, tea country, ancient cities, and beaches. Sri Lanka might be the most complete destination we book. Here are just a few of the highlights:

Leopards in Yala National Park, home to one of the densest leopard populations on earth. The hill country train, gliding past tea estates on what many call the most beautiful rail ride in the world. Sigiriya, a royal fortress built on top of a rock rising 600 feet out of the jungle. Galle's 17th-century Dutch fort, now full of boutiques and cafés. And the south coast beaches to end on.

The hotel scene deserves its own mention, with colonial-era tea bungalows, design hotels shaped by the legacy of architect Geoffrey Bawa, and safari camps that rival Africa's.

Most Portugal trips head straight for the Algarve. Our favorite itineraries go almost everywhere else.

Lisbon: the natural first stop, with hilltop viewpoints, a world-class food scene, and the fairytale palaces of Sintra a short drive away.

The Alentejo: cork forests, sprawling w**e estates, whitewashed villages, and some of the darkest night skies in Europe. This is Portugal at its slowest and most soulful.

Comporta: rice paddies running into pine-backed Atlantic beaches, barely an hour from Lisbon. The understated coast Europeans have kept to themselves for years.

The Douro Valley: terraced vineyards stacked above the river, tastings at historic quintas, and lodges with valley views that stop conversation.

Madeira: dramatic cliff walks along centuries-old levada trails, a surprisingly serious dining scene in Funchal, and spring-like weather nearly every month of the year.

Wherever Portugal takes you, we'll make sure it goes past the obvious. Let's start planning.

Big news for train lovers. England and Wales finally have their first luxury sleeper train, and it was worth the wait.

The Britannic Explorer, Belmond's newest train, departs London on three-night journeys through Cornwall, Wales, or the Lake District, with just 18 suites on board.

On board you'll find a botanical bar in the observation car and, the part nobody expects, a wellness suite offering treatments while the countryside rolls past. Step off the train for coastal hikes, wild swims in the Lakes, and private gallery dinners.

The dining is reason enough to book. Menus come from Simon Rogan, the chef behind three-Michelin-star L'Enclume.

Advisor tip: the routes are scheduled back-to-back, so you can chain Cornwall into Wales for one week covering two very different Britains. Cabins are limited, so let's talk timing.

Egypt has been on bucket lists for about 4,000 years, and it has never been a better trip than right now.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is finally open in full, with Tutankhamun's complete collection displayed together for the first time in history. Pair it with sunrise at the pyramids before the crowds arrive, a few nights sailing the Nile on a private dahabiya, and the Valley of the Kings with an expert Egyptologist bringing every painted wall to life.

October through April is prime season on the Nile. Reach out, and we'll get you there.

Trend alert. Glowcations are one of the most requested trips of the year, and the requests keep coming for 2027.

So what is one? A glowcation is a trip built around skin, rest, and wellness rituals, with the goal of coming home visibly better than when you left. Less sightseeing marathon, more treatments, thermal waters, deep sleep, and good food doing their quiet work.

The destinations doing it best right now include South Korea, for K-beauty facials and bathhouse culture. Thailand, for herbal therapies and some of the finest massage traditions anywhere. And Europe, from Swiss longevity clinics to Italian thermal springs and Greek island wellness retreats.

Advisor note: The top practitioners and signature treatments book out weeks or months ahead, so we secure them before you land. Ready to glow? Message us.
