Where I spent my Memorial Day .
Hauling a combat wounded Purple Heart recipients new to him and his wife Carver Mariner .

The Mariner is an acquired taste.
They may not be a sporty on the outside, but they sure are practical and they have one story living inside .
You don’t think about that when you’re buying a boat, my Silverton that I live on doesn’t have a lot of steps in a row like a house ,
But it sure has a lot of steps !
Two to go up four to go down in the cabin two more to go down the galley to put groceries away two more to go down to the back after state room !
But I love it .
So back to our haul

Recrossing the Delaware made me think How crucial the water highways in our becoming a country were .
The next day I visited my dad
Washington’s army crossed his property in Princeton during the battle of Trenton ( There’s a historical marker)
While Rockingham is two blocks over.
Washington’s headquarters.
I geek out on history and especially maritime history.
Would I ever move back to
my home state?
I can list a thousand places I’d love to move to .

It wasn’t coincidence that One left Pompano Beach, Florida to Grovers Marine
And the other left Grovers Marine back down to Pompano Florida a mile away from where I started .

Last boat of the year was this beautiful formula !
I had to look at the year on the registration because I couldn’t believe how clean it was .
I’ve owned a couple of formulas throughout the years.
This is a boat that will last his family a long time. .
Straightforward ,
doesn’t try to be something its not.

That’s great for a weekend on the water.

Seattle was absolutely deplorable, black ice in Montana floods in Everette Washington ( finally picked up my little whaler dinghy I bought four months ago )
I like a challenge , but cut me a break! lol
This boat labeled the banana boat , entire run was a sh*tshow , maybe he’ll find all his parts and shake the curse of the bananas! 😂
