Spirit Airlines: Travel Alert

Spirit Airlines has cancelled all arriving and departing flights effective immediately, as the airline winds down operations.

Passengers scheduled to travel are advised not to come to the airport, as there are no flights and no on-site customer service available.

A new Starbucks has officially opened in Concourse D! This is all part of the airport's plan to refresh and improve all concessions at RSW. Since we know you've got places to be, this spot features a dedicated mobile-order pickup zone so you can grab-and-go faster than you can say "extra shot of espresso."

A huge shoutout to our RSW Tourism Ambassadors who celebrated National Superhero Day in style! While they usually spend their days guiding travelers through construction and answering all things Fort Myers, yesterday they did it with extra "up, up, and away" energy. We are so grateful for the dedication and super spirit our volunteers bring to the airport every single day.

History was made at RSW! March 2026 was officially the busiest month in our 43-year history, welcoming a record-breaking 1,521,149 passengers. RSW would like to recognize the many TSA officers who came to work every day, despite personal hardships, to ensure travelers had a safe and secure experience.

We appreciate all our employees, airlines and airport business partners who support the traveling public every day. RSW also wants to give a BIG thank you to our passengers for their patience during an incredibly busy month!
