Customizable 3D printed flashlight mount for the guardian full face mask finally gave out after 2-3 months. Needs a slight upgrade on one side, but overall performed well.

Hull anode plate all threads shown in this vessels engine room only have one backing nut and it’s loose. A very common issue. Sealant is compromised causing mild leak puddle as seen in photo.

Having 2 nuts on each all thread tightening them to the hull inside, adds more tension keeping all threads from spinning.

We recommend addressing sealant at haul out and ensuring 2 backing nuts are snug against hull.

2 different transducers found loose and fixed.

First one needed 6 new bolts tightened with loctite to bracket. Internal threading of transducer has moderate corrosion and previous hardware was severely compromised.

Second one was not attached to the hull. Pre drilled holes were cleaned of growth. Correct size screws were placed in using 5200 and tightened down.

Finding loose components on the hull is surprisingly very common. When underway vibrations will cause bolts to loosen. Trim tabs, intakes, propellers, transducers, all threads.

New client’s maxprop anode fried after only 1.5 months for sailboat. Electrolysis reported. Anode replaced immediately. With a 2nd shaft anode installed as precaution.

Different propellers with mild bends. Even the slightest bend in your propeller will cause vibrations wearing out the engines leading to more costly repairs long term. Propellers pulled and sent for repairs. Turnaround time as little as 1-2 weeks.

Picked up north fort myers yacht with heavy corrosion throughout running gear. Original zincs from 1 year ago did not burn staying at 100%. Because of the area being mostly freshwater we swapped all anodes to aluminum, since aluminum anodes protect running gear better in a more fresh/saltwater environment. We ruled the type of anodes as culprit for heavy brown corrosion.
