Switlik Aviation Inc. History In 1979, Edd Switlik moved to Fort Myers, FL from his native Kansas and began a 17-year career with Ft. With the closure of Ft.

Myers Airways where he directed the maintenance for their charter fleet. Edd as well as supported maintenance for the major airlines which then operated from Page Field. Myers Airways in the mid-90’s, Edd made the decision to start his own facility and in 1996 the hangar doors were opened at Switlik Aviation Maintenance, Inc. Presently, Edd and his crew work in a large, custom designed and built,

state-of-the-art facility in order to keep up with the rapid growth of Southwest Florida and the ever increasing demands for quality general aviation maintenance and repair services. Both private and corporate aircraft owners from all over the world have come to trust Edd and his talented crew for all of their inspection, repair and maintenance needs.
