A little more about us. We are a non profit organization that offers cost assistance ( pays 100%) toward canine spay & neuter. We are focused on, but not limited to DeKalb County Al. Dr Lee Whetstone of Fort Payne Vet Center is providing these spay/neuter services for Daisy Spay applicants. How this works, first you contact us if you wish to have a dog spayed or neutered. All we need at that point
is your name and number. We will add you to the list (unfortunately there is a waiting list). When we get to you we will call and get basic information ( mailing address, pet info such as name, breed, age, etc). We then mail you a waiver to sign. You return the signed waiver to us within 10 days. Once we receive the waiver, then we mail you a spay/neuter voucher. Its that simple. The voucher is good for 30 days. It is up to the applicant to make vet appointment and pet transportation. Note that Daisy Spay is only responsible for spay/neuter cost, not any additional fees that may arise. Our goal is to end the homeless dog population in our area, and eventually help surrounding counties as well.
