Local EAA chapters allows you to share your interest with thousands of other members in a variety of different events and activities, including fly-ins, picnics, workshops, Young Eagles rallies, and more.

With 2026 well underway, let's take a moment to look back on what a great year 2025 was for EAA Chapter 890 and friends. We had great turnouts for our Fly-Ins and Young Eagles events, welcomed new members, and worked hard on improving our Chapter.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our events, all our members for their hard work, and to our community for its support!!

We have some great things coming in 2026 & look forward to you being a part of it!

Our next event is our Fly-in & Drive-in Breakfast Saturday, Jan. 31st from 7-10am. We'll see you there!

This is the scholarship application for the Aviation challenge in Huntsville next summer. The EAA 890 chapter will sponsor two, one for the Mach II and one for the Mach III camps. Please have them postmarked or delivered to the Fort Payne airport by December 31st. This is the same form that was distributed to schools in the Fort Payne, Alabama, area.

I think this is Down on the Farm Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maze in Rainsville? Always thought it was a cool location to fly over with Young Eagles when we have the time.
