Raymond Valdez began working for his Grandfather’s Air Conditioning business running duct work in Tract Homes day in and day out. After a couple of years, he moved up to Field technician, and shortly after that he started his own A/C Company. Along the way Ray always had Ideas for tools that could make his job easier while he working. He would always tell himself, “there has to be a better way to

do this” With Ray’s spare time and a garage full of ideas that is how ByATec came to life. With our products tested and proven, Ray along with his good friend and business partner Michael Selvaggio formed BYATEC; tools by a technician for a technician. At BYATEC we are dedicated to making quality tools that allows the technicians job to be performed faster and more efficiently while at the same time remaining durable in the rough and abusing environment of the service filed. LEAK DROPS, ByATec's first premier product launched in 2017. LEAK DROPS is a Pocket size 1oz Refillable dropper bottle filled with Leak detection Fluid. A technician can now have the Luxury of searching for a suspect refrigerant or Gas leak without having to go back to the truck to grab that bulky spray bottle. With the launch of this 2 in 1 product you can now simply reach in your shirt pocket pull out LEAKS DROPS and apply fluid in angles the big bottles can’t get to. LEAK DROPS is especially designed for leaky Schrader Valve Cores. LEAK DROPS has a metal Cap on the bottle with an integrated valve core tool; no more testing for a Leaky Valve Core with Saliva. Simply squeeze a few drops onto the valve core port , If bubbles appear then use the tool on the cap to tighten the core, then retest . put LEAK DROPS back into your shirt pocket and you are on to your next call where you will most likely need to use your Leak Drops again.
