Help Save the Boulder, Colorado Airport
The City of Boulder is actively considering closing the Boulder airport. This would be the end of the 160-member Soaring Society of Boulder as well as the local commercial glider operation Mile High Gliding. It would be a huge blow to soaring in the Mountain West and nationwide.

The Franconia Soaring Association wishes to inform you, our community of friends and family, that we will not be providing rides to the general public for the foreseeable future out of concern for your health and well-being during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are monitoring updates to the New Hampshire Universal Guidelines to determine when we may once more provide introductory flights to the general public.
In the meantime, the Franconia Soaring Foundation is making improvements to the airfield in accordance with its strategic plan
