I have had the pleasure of visiting the Happiest Place on Earth countless times with my husband throughout the raising our four children. Having traveled with friends, other couples, with my own children in various ages (toddlers, tweens, teens and now all grown), and alone with my husband I have the experience to customize an

So I continued my education and am certified in other areas of travel as well. Being a Master Planner with Marvelous Mouse Travels, I have had the honor to visit and plan vacations to Sandals and Beaches Resorts, Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, and many more. It doesn't matter how you like to travel I can help. Don't want to leave the US, I have personally visited 47 States. Next summer I plan to include them all. Being a Disney College of Knowledge graduate, I am equipped with the skills to plan your next magical adventure. Well, I have been so busy but I don’t wanted to check back in since I promised to explain our ship swap. There really isn’t much to talk about since it was seamless but I’ll try. Our original itinerary had us sailing for the whole 7 nights. Unfortunately the River had another idea. The water level was so low we were stuck on the one side of the Rhine on the Viking Hild. Fortunately for us Viking had sailings going back & forth in both directions.

The Viking Herja was stuck on the other side of the River, so a ship swap was scheduled. These ships are identical so transitioning was easy. We were docked for two nights in Strasbourg France and were bused to the two ports, Speyer and Mainz, due to the water situation. The last bus ride took us past the castles we were hoping to see from the water. Was it the trip we planned? Nope, but it was lovely. Here we are in Germany and it’s gorgeous. We arrived to our rooms, all our luggage was magically waiting for us and we continued on our way on the Moselle River.

I would like to applaud the staff and crew of Viking Cruises. They were all working so hard, helping with bags, we never had to touch them, getting us on the correct paths, ensuring we understood 100% the current changes, all with smiles on their faces. I don’t know if any other company could pull this off. We appreciate you Viking and are incredibly grateful for all of you.
