Knotts Transportation LLC is located in Taneytown, MD and is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver for lowboy Freight.
• Must have at least 5 years of driving experience
• Would prefer you to have lowboy work experience.
• Must have the ability to take care of the equipment provided and meet weekly requirements.
• Must be able and willing to stay out overnights, home on weekends mostly, unless we plan a 2 week run or if the particular job calls to be out over the weekend ( doesn't happen often but the opportunity does come up)
• Must have or able to get twic card for port deliveries and pick-ups and pass background checks for military bases.
• Must be able to handle themselves out on the road in different situations.
• Must be able to drive a 18 speed transmission.
• Must have some experience running heavy equipment enough to load and unload at destinations.
• Would prefer a person with experience doing wide and over weight loads.

Ideal candidate would have some mechanical experience. (tarp loads do happen from time to time if its the best paying load available) but we try not to look for them. Pay will be based on experience provided at job interview. Please send a resume or questions to [email protected]
