Day 3 & 4, in Philadelphia! We laced up our shoes and walked thru history! Independence Hall, Christ Church, the Liberty Bell Elfreth's Alley, the "Rocky" Steps / statue and the Museum of the American Revolution, Eastern State penitentiary and so much more!

On the road again, I can't wait to get on the road again! This time to Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. Our first night in King of Prussia, dinner at Maggianos Little Italy and Valley Forge National Historic Park, Washington Crossing Historic Park and dinner at Washington crossing Inn for dinner.

Our travels this weekend took us to Shipshewana, IN for good food and to see the amazing group, "The Temptations"! This little town is always decked out for the holidays, take a look at these amazing decorations. Stopped in Auburn for a tour of the Duesenberg Car Museum and lunch. We celebrated Carolyn's birthday and some were able to see guys from the group. Thanks to all who joined us!

A nice ride to Lancaster, PA for the amazing Sight and Sounds show of "Joshua", dinner and show at Paradise Barn, dinner at Hometown Kitchen, Seltzers Smokehouse, Kreider Dairy, and Kitchen Kettle. Thanks to all who joined us! 🙂

This week we spent the week in the "Guilded Age" era, Newport, RI. We toured the mansions, Rosecliff, the Marble House, Blithewold and the grandest of them all, The Breakers, a summer cottage of the Vanderbilt family. A cruise around the harbor and a walk on the Cliff walk to top it off! Great weather, we missed the rain, just a little chilly, so we all got new sweatshirts and jackets! A stop at the Walk way across the Hudson River, an old railroad bridge and a beautiful windy day! Thanks to all that joined us! See a second post for more photos! 😊

Another great trip to Shipshewana to see the Bacon Brothers, yes, you guessed it. Kevin Bacon from Footloose! Great concert, great food and new friends! We are heading back to Shipshewana in November to see the Gatlin Brothers in December to see the Gaithers Christmas concert. What's the best way to celebrate a birthday? 🎂 Well of course a Mystery Trip with Eagle Rock Tours! Today is the final day, # 4, of our Fall Mystery trip. We had the BEST time with the BEST passengers. They treat us tour guides like family and share their love. I appreciate the Happy Birthday wishes, cards, and gifts. They know how to make you feel special. 💜

We took 2 buses this week, with approx 100 passengers to learn all about Oldham County, Kentucky. This county sits right outside of Louisville and is a hidden gem of horse farms, trains, rich history, quaint shops, and my favorite bourbon! 🥃 The fun part of a Mystery Trip is the passengers have NO idea where they are going. If they asked me.... we were going "just around the corner".

We had the best time with our local tour guides, Kim and Maggie, with Oldham County Tourism and Conventions. This is what our time in Oldham County looked like:

Day 1 - Cheeky Art Museum, LaGrange Railroad Museum

Day 2 - Little Colonel Playhouse, Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, lunch with Captain Mary Miller, ( our lunch was with Abraham Lincoln), Hermitage Farm tour, Kentucky Artisan Distillery, and dinner at Creasey Nature Preserve learning all about Champion Trees

Day 3 - Knock on Wood Mercantile, Oldham Cty History Center - Underground Railroad, Ele
vated Kentucky Derby Fall Tea, shopping in downtown LaGrange, Highpointe Training Center, dinner at One Nineteen West Main.

Day 4 - Rose Bakery, Veterans Memorial Park, and lunch at Claudia Sanders Dinner House.

So much fun stuff in only 4 days!

A great 3 days Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino for some food, fun and gambling! Some winners, some just made a donation! Good food and good friends, you can't beat that!
