Another great day in the heat! Off to Quantico Cemetery where we learned of the Missing in America Project where there locate, identify and inter unclaimed remains of American Veterans. In their 18 years, they located over 35,000 unclaimed remains of which 7,468 were Veterans. Next to the Marine Museum, the Carlyle House, a walking tour of Alexandria and dinner at Gadsbys Tavern. Our last stop, the Air and Space Museum in Chantilly.

Another tour in the books! This time to Alexandria, VA! Despite a quick power outage, we had dinner and a great presentation with Travis, a local historian. Spent the day at the Army Museum, George Washington's Mount Vernon, along with a cruise on the Potomac River and learned about Women who fought for their right to vote, dinner at Madigan's Waterfront, while celebrating a couple of birthdays!

A nice little trip to Shipshewana, IN to see Chonda Pierce and the Wizard of Oz museum.
