FlaTTTTTbed Friday: Dedicated to Clayton McElroy
For ten years, Clayton ran our yard, loading and unloading every kind of freight you can think of. He loved that job and took real pride in doing it right. He'd be the first to tell you he was lazy, and that's exactly what made him great. 😄 He never made a wasted move. Every lift on that big yellow telehandler was the smartest, most efficient one possible.
🧠 Smart: He built every load like a game of Tetris, mixing and matching crates, pipe, and steel until it balanced just right and was loaded to max capacity.
⏰ Dependable: We're not sure he ever missed a day. Rain, heat, or cold, Clayton showed up.
🗣️ Honest: You always knew where you stood with him, and he'd tell you straight every time.
😄 Cheerful: If you were down, he had some quirky thing to say to make you smile. If you had a great idea, he had a slightly better one.
❤️ Friend: He was a true friend and as much a part of our family as anyone could be.
We lost Clayton last Saturday, and the yard just isn't the same. So today, every strap is cinched a little tighter and every load rolls a little prouder, all for you, brother. 🚛✨
