We’re right in the midst of Halloween Horror Nights, and I’m still planning trips for clients. It’s not too late to experience it for yourself.

The houses this year are some of the best I’ve ever seen. Calling them theatrical almost feels like an understatement. The detail, storytelling, sets, costumes and scares make you feel like you have stepped directly into a horror movie.

The terror lurking throughout the park is second to none. Around every corner, you are waiting for something to happen, and the atmosphere keeps you on edge all night. The houses are absolutely on the level of HOLLYWOOD, but the immersive experience throughout the entire park takes it to another level.

I’ll be honest, by the end of the night I was so scared that I couldn’t even bring myself to go back and get the credit card I had left at the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley. That is when you know the scares are doing their job!

Halloween Horror Nights is only the beginning of the seasonal fun at Universal Studios. There is so much happening throughout the season, and I have all the details on what to see, what to experience and how to make the most of your trip.

🖤 I wasn’t quite ready for how much I was gonna fall in love with Dark Universe… but y’all, the moment I walked in? I was SOLD. 🙌 Hands down, this might just be my new favorite spooky spot!

From my buddy Frank (you know, Frankenstein) and his lovely wife to the Burning Blade Tavern, this place is LIT. The snacks? Delish. The rides? Outta this world. Honestly, it’s a whole vibe just strolling through Darkmoor, watching the local monsters chat it up with guests like it’s just another eerie day in the neighborhood. 👻

Now let’s talk about Monsters Unleashed—ohhhh YES. This ride is gonna be everyone’s new obsession. Screams, laughs, and so much spooky fun packed into one epic attraction. And Curse of the Werewolf? Let’s just say I could’ve spun around three more times and still hopped back in line! 😂 It’s the perfect mix of thrills and fun.

Super Nintendo World was straight outta my childhood dreams! 🏎️ From zooming through Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge to escaping danger in Minecart Madness, it felt like I jumped right into my favorite games. We even got to meet Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach—total icons! 🍄✨

Huge kudos to the Universal team for bringing the Mushroom Kingdom to life in such an epic way. The snacks? 10/10! I grabbed a DK Crush float, and it was banana-level good. 🍌 And the best part? We cruised through the lines with our VIP tour guide—power-up unlocked! 🎮

Let’s talk about what a private VIP tour at Epic Universe really looks like—because it’s truly something special!

First off, see that tan hat in all my photos? That’s Alysha, our amazing VIP tour guide. Notice her in front of us, leading the way? We didn’t have to think about a thing all day—she had every detail handled from start to finish.

We began with private VIP check-in and exclusive entry into the park, completely separate from the main entrance. From there, Alysha guided us through a custom itinerary built just for us. It’s the best way to experience Epic—smooth, stress-free, and full of “how is this real?” moments.

Each land, or portal, came with its own backstory before we stepped inside. Alysha gave us insider details on every ride, attraction, and land—she shared the backstories before we even stepped through each portal, which made the whole experience feel even more immersive. It was like getting a sneak peek from Hiccup himself before soaring over Berk—those little details made the magic come alive!

And let’s not forget Super Nintendo World—we met Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach with no line. Just walk right up and enjoy the moment!
