A little aviation history flew through Fresno this week.

Spotted this week at Fresno Yosemite International Airport: American Airlines’ TWA heritage livery bringing a little old-school airline nostalgia to the Central Valley.

TWA, or Trans World Airlines, was one of the most iconic names in American aviation, known for its distinctive red-and-white branding and a history that dates back to the golden age of air travel.

So yes… this plane spotting just got a little retro.

Friday reminder: some liveries are more than paint. They’re a piece of aviation history.
