I know many of our community members are owners of Rad Power Bikes. Unfortunately there is a serious warning for the batteries. The CPSC has issued a stop use advisement for the batteries due to the risk of fire. I personally would not store these batteries in my house.

I am unsure what the resolution for this problem will be. Rad Power Bikes is facing possible bankruptcy.

April 1st is coming up fast!

We are preparing for the 2025 summer season. If you have repairs that you need completed this summer, bring them by 22 web st in Friday Harbor. I will be dedicating the first two weeks to doing repairs for the community before shifting focus to the rental bike fleet.

Later into the season we are likely to have some sort of waitlist for major repairs again. I am sorry for this inconvience.

We have our Basic Rental bikes for sale. They come tuned with all wear components checked/replaced, with rack/bag, and accessories as shown for $500. These are great bikes for basic transportation to or from work/school or relaxed leisure riding. There are limited quantities of each size available and not all can be sold immediately. Great bike for college.

Occasional employee and good friend of the shop crashed his bike. He went to the hospital and they found cancer. If you can afford to help a fellow cyclist and all around good human please do.

Last week's fun project was a 90's mtb conversion to 26" gravel grinder. The frame geometry of these old mountain bikes is similar to the modern "gravel bike," so adding drop bars and new Rene Herse Humptulips Ridge 26"x2.3" tires are a natural. Have fun Chris!

Salsa BlackThorn ready for action! Lately Ive been doing lots of brightly colored bikes, I found building a blacked out bike fun again. This bike has Lots of Rockshox stuff and the new SRAM GX AXS kit. The hubs painted by OnyxRP in splatter burgundy 🔥 🔥
