Thank you to CDOT for supporting the I-70 Coalition's GoI70.com program. Shifting travel to off peak times is a short term strategy that can have a large impact on I-70 congestion. The weekend travel forecast is posted every Thursday afternoon at GoI70.com/travel

According to the National Ski Areas Association, the daily I-70 mountain corridor traffic count on Sunday, Jan. 27 set an all-time record with 54,720 west and eastbound cars passing through.

Would you utilize a high speed transit system on I-70? Development Research Partners has been retained by the I-70 Coalition and several other I-70 corridor stakeholders to conduct a study to estimate the economic impacts of a high-speed transit system in the I-70 Mountain Corridor.

They have two surveys: one for Mountain Corridor residents and a separate survey for Metro Denver residents. The survey will take just 5-8 minutes to complete and will close at the end of December.

The I-70 Coalition supports Proposition 110! The new revenue would fund several I-70 improvements including Floyd Hill widening and redesign, the WB Mountain Express Lane, widening Vail Pass, and interchange improvements at Silverthorne and Frisco among other mountain corridor improvements. Our economy and our quality of life depend on an adequately funded transportation system!
