The colors of 2027 are starting to take shape.
Paint companies are announcing their 2027 Colors of the Year, offering an early look at the palettes expected to influence interiors in the year ahead.
Martha Stewart's latest roundup includes everything from BehrPaint’s mossy olive Grounded and Dutch Boy Paint’s earthy orange Deep Rooted to Valspar’s muted blue Cottage Door, Graham & Brown’s clay-inspired Rose Earth and Dunn-Edwards Paints’ deep brown French Press Coffee.
The colors may vary, but a common direction is emerging: warmer, richer, more grounded spaces with a strong connection to nature.
For NWH, that direction is especially interesting. These colors do more than pair beautifully with hardwood. They reflect many of the same qualities that make natural wood so compelling in a space: warmth, depth, character, variation and an inherent connection to the natural world.
As designers embrace richer color and more layered, authentic interiors, hardwood has an important role to play in bringing those spaces to life.
