One of the biggest factors affecting how quickly and efficiently a move goes isn’t the size of the house — it’s how prepared everything is when the crew arrives.

A few tips:

✅ Have all boxes packed, taped and labeled.
Loose items take significantly more time to handle than properly packed boxes.

✅ Finish packing the kitchen.
Everything sitting on the counters should be packed before the movers arrive

✅ Empty and organize the garage, basement and storage areas.
These areas are often where we find the most loose items

✅ Secure lamps and fragile items.
Remove lampshades, pack delicate décor and make sure fragile pieces are ready for safe transportation.

✅ Clear hallways, stairways and entrances.
A clear path allows movers to work faster and reduces the chance of damage or accidents.
